seem to get 
past 
the basics
memories of old
sins keep showing 
up on your doorstep. 
the hate for yourself 
is stifling.
constantly comparing you 
to others 
all the while 
listening to the devil
but there's more
to it you know, a 
grace bigger than you 
could ever show.
but first you have to take all the 
thoughts from hell 
& let them go.
